OSHA, NIOSH, and a coalition of safety organizations – including the National Safety Council – are teaming up for the seventh annual Safe + Sound Week.
The national initiative, set for Aug. 7-13, is aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of workplace safety and health programs, which OSHA says “can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line.”
OSHA offers resources to help start an organizational safety program, revive an existing one or provide opportunities to recognize safety successes.
Registration is scheduled to open in July.
